I am not going to lie to you. I saw something last night that was like a cat with a ringed tail in the alley behind the dive shop/nail salon. I am going back later to catch it.

When the Decemberists played Portland, they had to borrow insturments from the local shops (being theirs were stolen hours before) and the price tags were still attatched! Hilarity and saddness with carmel filling.

I don't think they'll ever replace Neutral Milk Hotel, but I also don't think the Decembrists will ever get hurled into an alternate universe by the sheer beauty of their own music, either, which means they'll be around for more great albums.
